Our 40° Silicone rubber cord is more compressible compared to 60° grades. This can help to provide more of an effective seal when compressed between two surfaces. Silicone rubber cord has excellent resistance to high and low temperatures. It has a non-stick, watertight surface and also performs well against weathering, ultraviolet light and ozone. It also has excellent electrical insulation properties, is WRAS / WRc approved and is suitable for food contact. This makes Silicone rubber cord popular for high temperature sealing applications across a wide range of industries.
